We are committed to collaborating with your current care team to enhance your overall medical care and well-being.
Unfortunately, insurance does not provide full coverage for all of the services offered by My Lifestyle Doc, thus this practice is unable to accept insurance in any form. However, many of My Lifestyle Doc’s services are covered by Health Savings Accounts (HSA), FlexibleSpending Accounts (FSA), and Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRA).If you plan to use your HSA, HRA, or FSA for payment of fees to MyLifestyle Doc PLLC, you should know that Qualified Medical Expenses(QME) include costs of diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease with the purpose of affecting any part or function of the body. They do not include expenses merely beneficial to a patient’s general health or to relieve discomfort not related to a particular medical condition. My Lifestyle Doc makes no representation or claims about tax results to you for using your HSA,HRA, or FSA. If you have further questions about coverage, you should consult your own tax advisor.
Yes. Dr. Schuetz is the only provider at My Lifestyle Doc currently. She will be your main point of contact as well as who sees you for any visit.
We do not sell vitamins or supplements. Our focus is on providing evidence-based lifestyle coaching and integrative healthcare solutions to support your well-being. We believe in empowering individuals through personalized lifestyle changes and behavior modifications to achieve optimal health. We will prescribe vitamins or supplements if you are found to have a deficiency or there are clinical guidelines that recommend the use of a particular vitamin or supplement.
Lab testing ordered after the initial lifestyle consultation is very dependent on each individual's needs. If you had recent labs performed, we encourage you to bring them to your appointment for review to avoid unnecessary repeat testing.
Patients cannot have labs drawn directly at My Lifestyle Doc; instead, they are directed to a local LabCorp, Quest or UK Healthcare location. Patients can choose to use their insurance or pay for the labs personally. If patients have preferences for other lab locations in Lexington, they should communicate with My Lifestyle Doc to discuss their options.

Yes. Dr. Schuetz can perform her consultations via telehealth. However, she is only licensed in the state of Kentucky so patients must be in the state of Kentucky at the time of their telehealth visits.
The first lifestyle medicine consultation requires more time as it allows Dr. Schuetz to understand your needs better and smoothly onboard you to the My Lifestyle Doc system. Upon completing this visit, you become eligible to enroll in our membership program.
Absolutely! If you are looking for an in depth review of your current lifestyle but feel comfortable managing your action plan on your own, then a single lifestyle medicine consultation may be the perfect fit for you.
Someone will contact you about scheduling your first consultation. Once an appointment is booked, you will receive paperwork to complete prior to the appointment. It is very important to complete all paperwork 48 hours prior to your appointment. This allows for us to prepare for your arrival and for you to get the most out of your appointment.
